As previous posts we have introduced, the apk is one of the files only for the Android operating system, and it is the life of today’s smart phones.
How to edit an apk file to optimize it, or you can simply remove the ad, or mod apk again with more interesting things, follow the instructions below.
How to edit apk files
You need to prepare the apk file you need to edit, you can download it to your computer
Step 2: Conduct editing, mod apk
To edit the apk file, you need a specialized tool, or you need a laptop or computer to open the apk file as source code, there are two methods for you to use it:
1- Using specialized software …. edit apk
2- You use tips to extract apk files, using winrar right on your computer and follow the instructions as follows.
– Right-click on the application (apk file you need mod)> select open with> select winrar
At this point, the winra system will give you an extremely large directory and many files, to edit to your liking you need to be familiar with the android source code.
Some source code for building applications for android include, cocos, unity, java …. but most often you need to find the file res -> mipmap-hdpi -> ic_launcher_sinstall.png). Just drag the file from .apk and edit it to your liking.
Step 3 – Return the new .apk to its location
Of course, you will have to reset your device to see the changes take effect, no points will be available on your computer! There are two ways to do this:
a) Open your rom and navigate to where you got the .apk file from there. Click the old .apk file and press the delete button. Now drag your new edited .apk file to the zip. Then connect your device to the computer and pull the rom onto sdcard and flash it via recovery. Now reboot the system and see if your changes take effect!
b) Copy your new .apk file from your computer to your device. Then, using the Root browser or a similar application, navigate to the old .apk file and review the permutations. (e.g. RW – r–) Now delete the old file and replace it with the new one, but make sure to set the same permissions as before. Now just reboot and see if your changes take effect!
NOTE: For some .apk files (e.g., Framework-res.apk) may be missing directories within .apk (for example, Values).
